Plan Ahead

Welcome to ÎüʪÊÓƵ

We know students have questions about the transition to college and what to expect this fall. Plan Ahead has been designed to facilitate your transition into college life. We’re here to take the stress out of starting school and provide you with the support and information necessary to ensure your success in the upcoming semester!

Plan Ahead sessions take place in May and June each year. There are two types of Plan Ahead sessions; the first will focus on program and education planning, and the second will focus on how to register.  The Planning session will be offered on campus as well as virtually and the Registration Information session will be offered virtually.  Please register for the version that suits you best, or both if you like.

During these informative sessions you will gain insights into:

  • Program and course requirements 
  • ÎüʪÊÓƵ Services for Students
  • Transfer options
  • Course load options and timelines

By attending Plan Ahead, you will have the opportunity to connect with other students in your program and familiarize yourself with ÎüʪÊÓƵ through a guided campus tour.

If your program is not listed on the registration form, attending a Plan Ahead session isn’t necessary.

Learn how to use Plan Ahead to create your schedule. If you still need help from an advisor, or would like an advisor to review your schedule, you can email them a copy at askoc@okanagan.bc.ca. Business students should email businessadvising@okanagan.bc.ca.

Arts, Business, and Science students need to build a plan. Check here to see if it's required.
